Jo Ann Cushman Gordon – I retired in December 2006 and moved to Boise ID in 2007 at the request of my son and his family.  I have two beautiful grandsons. My oldest is 11 years old. Frank is Chinese.  My youngest is 13 months.  Thomas Lin Lee entered the world early, October 16, 2007. Nothing like being a grandma. I hope all of our classmates are well and happy.  Don’t know when I’ll return to Florida.  I sold my GCS home in 2007.

Ray Bland – retired from Correctional Dept. of Fl after 33 yrs, married 32 years, 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters.

Ernie Chapman – I am retired from the Florida Highway Patrol after 31 years and returned to the GCS area to live. My wife (Rai) and I have been married 35 years. We have no children but were in the foster parent program for 12 yrs. We helped many children during that time but have one very special foster daughter who has two children. We are like grandparents to them

Gary Clarke – moved to Ormond Beach in April 2004 and went into commercial real estate, wife, Sherry retired from school system and is now a consultant for an educational foundation.

oger DeWitt – retired from FLORIDA’S NATURAL in Lake Wales.

DeDe Dixon (Wilkey) – Grandmother, almost fulfilled class prediction by marrying a college admissions director. Dave is a Funeral Director and I am a CNA, and we are both very happy and feeling like we are making a contribution by helping and caring for those in need.

Tommy Doan – Married to Faye, lives in GCS, and manages CarQuest Auto Parts in Palatka.

Pat Hansen – retired as nurse manager from Lucent Technologies, relocated back to Fl from Ok. City, Ok in June 2003.

Pearl Hunt (Doan) – I have been working at Metropolitan Baptist Church as secretary to the pastor here in Oklahoma City for 4 years now. Dennis and I have been here since 1991. We graduated from Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga–a Christian college.  My husband is a chiropractor here in OKC.

Judy Jones (Semon) – Just retired from 30 years of teaching to play with her granddaughter, Lily, one son, her husband Jack died of pancreatic cancer several years ago and she has remarried a man from New York City and gained a step-daughter in the process.

Pam Judy (Ragusa) – married to oral surgeon for 35 wonderful years, one daughter who is an attorney for Louisiana State Legislature & recently married, one son who is a PhD in genetics,  is married with 1 daughter.

Kathy Knowles (Bowen) – Husband, Henry, pastors Faith Baptist Church, in GCS, and both work at the Clay County Sheriff’s Office. I am very involved in the youth program at our church, and I am in the process of developing a youth program for preteens and teens. My hobby is collecting books and I have a large library especially of music.

Sally McCormick (Deloach) – Billy is retired but I am still working in provider education for BCBS of Alabama who has the contract for Medicare Part B for Georgia. I have been here now 15 years. Still love my job – not too wild about the commute (42 mi.) but plan to work only another 5 years.

Frances Morris (Knowles) – Retired – Clay County Board of Commissioners.

Billy and Frankie (Rivers) Rakes – Billy will be teaching in Ohio & Indiana so they can’t come.

Robert Rivers – retired from JEA in 2001 for health reasons.

Eddie Robinson – 1st born, Erin, is pursuing her masters in education degree, and is teaching kindergarten at the same school as Diane. Megan is a senior at Furman Univ. – Greenville, SC. Meredith (11 yrs.) is in the 6th grade at same school where Erin & Diane teach. Edward has started a film production company.

Dickie Sapp – retired from NADEP NAS-JAX 2002 , married for 35 years, 1 daughter, 3 grandchildren.

Judy Scarbrough (Young) – divorced/no children/cat lover, medical software development.

Len Showalter – Married 39 years to Marcia and we have 3 great adult girls. All three are married and are working. Two have children, so we now have three grand children. Became a pastor in the Jacksonville area in 1988, and started our own international evangelistic ministry in 1996.

Lewis Taylor – 2 grown children, 1 (16 year old) grandson, recently retired after 30+ years as manager, Human Resources with Pyramid Co. in G.C.S.

Nella Webb (Smith) – just retired from 30 years of teaching – mostly 5th grade.  Her main interests are quilting and volunteer work.

Faye Wilson (Abbott) – working full-time (3-11) shift, RN in upscale nursing home in Williamsburg, Va., Flying Cessna 172 on weekends for fun.  Working in her garden, reading, watching old movies, and drinking hot tea with her sweet husband.  Just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.  Christians to the core, 3 grown kids, 5 adorable grandkids.
